She was a very active Russian professional tennis athlete. The Russian tennis player started her professional tennis career when she was 14 years old. She was the youngest participant for the Fed Cup ever and won it in the name of Russia. In her 15th year, she won the U.S. Open, while at 16 she was able to make it all the way to Wimbledon's semifinals. Then she decided to pull out pro tennis when she was 21 due to due to chronic back pain.
